the levels of ifs are giving me a headache, but you need if(mod)

Stopping dicking around with Excel and use a real program like SAS. Very easy to do this in SAS with a couple lines of code. Takes less time than figuring out clumsy Excel formulas. Can also use MATLAB and you can purchase your own license for that pretty cheap.

R is free and can do this as well
