South Montgomery County is booming. The west side of 45 or TW can be populated by arrogant types. Hwy 242 is the northern boundary of TW. North of that towards Conroe has many new developments. The older developments will have trees while the newer ones tend to be clear cut developments. Check out the East side of 45 directly across from TW, along Rayford Road and off of 99 for areas with mature trees.

Almost all of them are restricted by HOA rules and regulations. Read them carefully.

Texas likes to brag about no income tax but the sales tax is at 8.25% ad property taxes are higher. Texas also allows you to choose your own electricity provider.

Montgomery County has all the hospitals, medical providers, restaurants, concert venues, Lone Star College, Lake Conroe for boating and fishing, etc. You really have no need to go to Harris County/Houston.
