So he's a cajun boy whose name is often mistaken as Jewish but he immediately knows the religion of others without asking?

It is an unacknowledged problem in Louisiana. I have a Jewish friend that teaches at an inner city high school in the Baton Rouge area. The shite she hears from black students and co-workers is straight out of the 1930s.
