I spent a month or two there for work several years ago. Some parts of El Paso look third world, and just off I-10. Downtown and the area near UTEP (uptown?) are nice and there are some great places to eat around there. It's also fairly scenic. I wouldn't want to live there, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

I've been to El Paso. It sucks especially now that you will die if you enter Juarez.

He did bring his girlfriend who is from Juarez. He is a US citizen who lives in Juarez and crosses daily.
