Samesies. I had to return a camera that arrived broken a few weeks ago. Amazon returned the money to my credit card before I even mailed the package back to them, despite their policy saying that they don't return the money until the package has been received and verified

Amazon does not make any profit? Are you an idiot?
They are known to be pretty cutthroat with their employees, mainly to drive benefits to their customers.

The unfortunate thing is, many of the reasons we like Amazon are also among the reasons they are operating at a loss. I recently had a gas powered pressure washer delivered from amazon to my door overnight on a Saturday for a mere $8 shipping. I love that kind of service, but I also know that somebody lost money because of it.

Maybe everywhere else is just extremely overcharging.

I would never work there. They pay very well, but they work their employees to death

i almost think that a company like amazon can almost name their price with fedex and ups
i'm sure both companies compete hard for shipping rights at amazon
don't think that amazon pays near what you or I would to ship something across the country

Agree, I can't even begin to imagine the kind of volume they move every day.

Family members from both sides, plus the people not related to me. Why is it of any consequence to you?
Exactly. I think I had 4 or 5. Family members and a good friend I grew up with. And still didn't have as many as my wife did. But then again I have 2 sisters and she just has a brother. That was all the rage back then, making sure both sides were even. In the end, who really cares.

Today I went to order the groomsmen gifts for my guys, and I needed a total of 10. The product had a limit of 5 due to Prime, so I contacted Amazon through their chat function, and the guy on the other end was very helpful in allowing me to get 10. He even upgraded my shipping to next day air for the "inconvenience." They really are a terrifically run company.
Wait....you're getting married?????? Holy shite!!
