Some people just aren't as versed in the proper way to do things, compared to you. I guess.
Maybe some folks do it just for the fun of being proven right about certain segments of society.
We never did it. I didn't need to prove myself right.
So you're giving out candy you bought on your dime to be "proven right about certain segments of society"?
That sounds like a miserable arse way to live and a waste of money.

That's fine. She's not here complaining about kids/adults taking all of the candy though.
It just seems silly to bitch about people taking all of the candy (which they've been doing LONG before today's day and age) if you're just not going to monitor the bowl. There's always going to be selfish people, even if it's the folks in your own neighborhood.

Buddy, you're the one talking about putting out an unattended bowl of candy as a social experiment.

according to ring, it's usually the kids who look like they're way to old to be trick or treating

Is that what I said I did? Are you really willing to look that dumb just to score passive aggressive internet points?

I don't disagree. I'm sure its usually teenagers. Probably the same ones when we were all younger who would go bag snatching. Even though there's definitely some parents who would encourage it too.
I just can't get bent out of shape about it happening if I choose to leave the candy out there unattended.

I literally highlighted your "hypothetical" quote. You're the one that said it. I don't know anyone who would buy candy (especially decent candy these days) and put a bowl out to see who takes it as a "social experiment". And I imagine someone who thinks that's a legitimate excuse for someone to leave a bowl unattended is probably doing it themselves. My first thought would be they were taking their own kids out and were maybe a little naive about society as a whole.
Sorry you told on yourself, I guess.

If I'm leaving that bowl out unattended, y'all getting some Smarties. Because I know that shite is going to get raided with a quickness.

Handing out candy and shite talking lazy teenagers is the second best part of Halloween, sandwiched right between making a gumbo and stealing my kids' candy.

You're just upset that your weird excuse got called out as weird. But hey, keep doing you.

Nope. This broad has a grating personality and posting style in every single thread. "So what you are saying" followed by nothing but bullshite. Im tired of ignorant people blowing themselves for destroying their own straw men. Brings the entire board down.

Why? That actually happens. The EBT queens being their offspring to neighborhoods of working people and go around causing trouble, stealing, etc. every community at this point should be gated

Holy lack of self awareness, Batman.

This doesn't even make sense. I guess I'm dumb. Will you explain the implication, slowly and with small to medium sized words? I may have a follow-up.

I'll give candy to any kid I dont care where they come from but you act like a human and treat my neighbors and they're property w/ respect.
At 6p the neighborhood shuts down the streets and it's pedestrian and golf carts.

My neighborhood has had a recent influx of "amigos", with mostly homemade costumes, even for the adults. They are very well behaved, polite and thankfull. They actually make it a little more fun.
