What you are writing is not epic poetry either. You are writing bob and wheels, which are an element included in epic poetry, but is not truly how epic poetry is written.

My lady and I dined
At a restaurant small
With companions gathered
Discussing Tiger Football

The hall that we feasted
Was scarce of a trawl
While my lady observed
Behemoth roach on the wall

To save face with our guests
No mention was made
This flying cocksucker
Observed not one can of Raid

When out of my purview
This scholarly Ace
Makes one big commotion
Strikes my friend upon on his face

His lady retorts and
Dispatches the lass
His battery accused
Throws him out upon his arse -

(Am I doing it?)

I’m not trying to write epic poetry. I don’t have an epic tale to tell at the moment.

But I stand by my assertion that your stream of pablum was in no way epic, nor a poem. It was quite clearly prose.
