My experience was quite the opposite. Guess it just depends on the girl. If you don't think FOBs are like that, you're delusional. I've seen military guys take FOBs home and experience hell once they get on US soil. At least with American born ones, there's not as many communication issues and they understand American customs.

Depending on their parents' level of income back in Asia, I feel like FOBs are incredibly materialistic. The guys even more so. "Money will solve everything." If their parents are middle class or lower, they're usually quite humble and work hard. Parents are usually very strict and don't like marriage outside of the Asian race.
Asian Americans are just every bit of the normal spectrum. Parents are open if they grew up in America. If they grew up in Asia, reference the previous description of Asian parents up above.

My problem with the Americanized ones is the social habits I came across. They had their circle that was hardly ever penetrated by non-Asians. Always throwing a party or going out to the same damn clubs. For some that is great but it isn't stimulating to me at all. Now I dated a Cambodian who's family fled the KR. Her dad actually accepted me after a time. Even asked me to come along on his yearly trip to look for their son that they left behind.

Yeah... That's a problem too. I noticed at the beginning of college, "... All my friends are... Korean..." 
My group of friends is diverse now, but my Korean friends barely have any other ethnic friends. Or at least never hang out with them.

Check out nurses or nursing students in the Philippines. Like half the nurses in the U.S. are Filipina. Those chicks are educated and smart, plus they make good money. Just find a good-looking one that likes to frick like a rabbit and you're good to go.
