It triggers some people here when I say Amber Alerts are domestic disputes 98% of the time. Which waters down the purpose of these alerts and causes people to tune them out.

I agree. Despite the mom’s criminal history, it’s still an issue of the kids were with their mom on their dad’s custody time. While i think the justice system definitely needs to pursue these cases, i thought the purpose of an Amber Alert was for kids who were in serious and immediate danger, such as a stranger abduction by a pedophile. If everything is an emergency, nothing is an emergency.
