Even if they don't cut labor cost, they can increase revenue by providing a better shopping experience. They probably have solid margins too. Prepped meals at the supermarket always have a big markup.

Very forward thinking. I agree as well. The McDonalds workers of today haven't learned any valuable skills to set them up for a life post-McDonalds. shite, they can barely operate the register.
