oh i've got amazon figured out alright.
700 commercie sites cad uses including shite like SWAPPA CAD gets a SHIPPING/TRACKING NUMBER within 1-2 days.
amazon thinks its ok to give you shite for a week.

You seem to be assuming my post meant I only buy from Amazon. I meant when I'm on Amazon, I don't buy 3rd party shite. I buy stuff that says "sold and shipped from amazon"." They have 2 giant warehouses here and I get stuff same day or the next day delivered by their white vans.
I don't hesitate to buy elsewhere if the price + 2 day shipping is cheaper.

So they promised you a window between the 9th and the 12th. You aren't a prime member so they will take their time to take care of prime members first, then ship yours with enough time to deliver in the aforementioned window.

Correct. So they are going to fulfill the orders of members first. Just because delivery is fast doesn't mean preparing the order for delivery doesn't have to still happen.

What other commerce site has a "prime membership"? Amazon is a lot more than just ordering products, you know that, right? Prime includes the video streaming service too.

Because they take that week to process prime orders. They promised you a delivery window and will deliver in that window.
