Alcohol vs. the Stomach Flu. Alcolhol winning

I believe I caught this bug while swimming a couple days ago.
There were a lot of little kids swimming, and I got a mouthful of water. I spit most of it but I must have ingested sum. Because exactly the amount of time being exposed to something = when I started to feel sick to my stomach. I know there is chlorine, but I doubt it's 100% effective.
Kids are like little germ factories.
This flu wasn't so bad that it was coming out of both ends...just 1 end with lots of stomach spasms.
So I started drinking...the big bottle of wine. At first it was hard to get going.
But now, I don't feel sick.
Alcohol is fantastic man. Why do so many people talk bad about it? It's medicine. some times it's medicine for the soul, body, and psychology.

Alcohol in the gut seems like something that would shut down a lot of unwanted biotics. Makes sense.

When the alcohol wore off in the middle of the day yesterday, I suffered a return of the stomach flu.
