It is really stupid that Louisiana makes every student take the act, many of whom have no intention of pursuing a secondary education.

This wasn’t a thing when I graduated in early 00’s.
A good number of kids I graduated with had no desire going to any college. Some went military others went plant route. I guess this was before PTECH courses were offered at the community colleges.

Me either. A lot of kids I went to HS with didn't take it because they knew they weren't going to college. I think it should still be voluntary. I'd bet that a lot of those types of kids make a 15 on it because they don't care.
