But as things get going again will they only allow planes to be 1/3 full or something?

Masks on at all times. No food/drink service.

It is amazing the restrictions people in this thread want but people of the PT trashed my idea of simply using mass temperature scanners to identify people with fever and deal with them.

I say let's deal with the sick and let everybody else get on with their lives and their airplane flights.

Several airports across the world scan for fever. We could do that easily by simply installing infrared temperature scanners on the TSA machines.

Probably because your colossal waste of money to get into sporting events would not catch asymptomatic carriers, which kinda kills the whole point.

New virus air filtration systems will be installed. 11% virus reduction and people will be good to go.

I don't WANT any restrictions. What I expect is that people wearing masks to fly is about to be as routine as ignoring the pre-flight safety instructions.

Yes. With the prevalence of airlines like Spirit and the resulting basic economy fares from AA, et al, just about anyone can fly nowadays.

I don't know how we got on the "only morbidly obese people are unhealthy" train, but it isn't remotely true. It's just the easiest to identify.

Logically the average airline passenger is going to be healthier than the average American, strictly because there are plenty of people out there that are too sick to fly, in hospitals and nursing homes and hospice care.

It's probably a pretty small delta though.

That, and income levels absolutely matter for the frequency of flying as well, even if airlines are "budget." I think the premise definitely makes sense.
