If you’re not smart enough to support yourself outside of taking other people’s hard earned property, then you’re probably not smart enough to see why this is a dumb idea.

It's not really about these people being retarded, but instead, they don't fear incarceration.
Either they know they will serve no jail time at all, or, their living accommodations in jail will supersede their current one. 3 hots and a cot, time with the homies, no worries.
