I've been convinced for years that there are way too many restaurants, anyway. At the rate new ones were opening in alot of areas, there's no way alot of them were going to be around in 5 or 10 years.

Its kind of the quintessential American dream business story.

At some point you realize half the people you ever come across have had the dream of starting and owning their own restaurant. Or food service style company.

I dont know why this is. Everyone knows its just death on the mind and soul and chance of success low.

But its easy to get running and everyone thinks their pasta recipe is what every Italian would want to eat.

Easy to get running, yes. But if I don't have a degree in business management, or the ability to hire a really good bookkeeper/manager, I'm not opening a restaurant these days. Margins are way too thin, and any frick ups can sink the business with the quickness.

Hey Shexter. They are not going to stop. The biggest goal of this shutdown is to introduce the <50k workers to clamor for UBI. This is their appetizer. The unemployment will be extended until the election. If Trump doesn’t win, one of their first agenda items will be to fast track UBI. Even if the Republicucks hold the senate, they will pass any UBI legislation that gets sent over from the House.
