AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Thread: Scissoring by the Dumpsters Edition

AEW Dark again continues to be the home of the AEW All-Atlantic Championship as PAC defends the title across the Atlantic Ocean in England. Yesterday it was back in RevPro for their Summer Sizzler show as he successfully defended the title against Connor Mills.

However... there's also some story starting to develop around the title now on these international stops... and it involves the box-wearing Kip Sabian. Sabian has been wearing a box that says "Under Rated. Over It." on his head for several months at AEW events (been doing it since returning from the arm injury that forced him out and was used to turn Miro from "The Best Man" into "The Redeemer"). But now... he's following PAC to these All-Atlantic Title defenses and Excalibur and Taz are mentioning it on commentary and PAC had several interactions with Sabian during the match on Dark last night. So it looks like PAC's first "in AEW" defense of the AEW All-Atlantic Championship will be against Kip Sabian.

AEW made some changes in the hierarchy... with a number of people being promoted to VP positions (seemingly hoping to solve the issues surrounding communication within the company between management and talent). Those promotions went to Sonjay Dutt, QT Marshall, Pat Buck, & Tony Schiavone. Schiavone is not a VP... but a senior producer and special adviser to talent.

But a new hiring is a bit interesting for AEW as former TNA/IMPACT Knockouts Champion & Knockouts Tag Team Champion, & Beautiful Person Madison Rayne has been hired as a coach for the AEW Women's Division. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rayne end up in front of the camera at some point either. Her wrestling days might be mostly behind her but she does have experience on commentary... having served as an IMPACT Wrestling on air analyst.

AEW's 1st console video game "AEW: Fight Forever" is now available for preorder on all gaming console systems and for the computer.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite comes from the Schottenstein Center on the campus of THE Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

After months out of action due to injuries... the Undisputed Elite will be back on the TV screens as Adam Cole, reDRagon, & the Young Bucks come back together. Now about these new Trios Titles...

"The Wizard" Chris Jericho puts his AEW Interim World Title shot that he has next week on the line against the young lion of the Blackpool Combat Club... the ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta.

And speaking of the Interim Champ... Jon Moxley has something to say ahead of that title match next week... whether it's against Yuta or Jericho.

The Acclaimed put out the challenge for the arse Boys and tonight they will battle it out in a dumpster match. Which team will scissor all night and which team will be left in the trash like Terry Funk & Mick Foley were that 1 night back on Raw many moons ago?

Speaking of previous WWE feuds... we have a Hardy vs. a Brood member as Matt Hardy takes on Christian Cage for... nostalgia I guess.

Will Jay Lethal be "freshly squeezed" as he takes on Orange Cassidy or will Orange be left in a pulp?

It was a rainy day along the Gulf Coast and we get another ThunderStorm tonight as Thunder Rosa & Toni Storm team up to easily dispatch the 1-win team of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Jamie Hayter.

And after reaffirming his heel status last week... Powerhouse Hobbs gets to wreck a jobber I guess. What ever will Ricky Starks do tonight?
