I think part of Tazz wanting him there is to benefit from developmental. He's way too raw and it's obvious that he can't fully develop as a part of AEW. At worst he goes there and spends a few years in NXT (much like Adam Cole). They could very easily apply the Theory developmental playbook to him
WWE did great with his dad

He hit his wife’s Figure 8

Wait. Did punk already have his match???

No. It's the ME. He cut a pipebomb[ish] promo on the Hardlys and their ilk.

Kind of supporting my theory, this show has been heavy on WWE cast-offs.

For some supposedly dominant heel group, the outcasts lose a hell of a lot.

So is the TNT title supposed to be serious or not? Hot potato with that fricker lately.

The dynamite lineup seems boring

Imagine a Punk turn on FTR in Chicago. The heat would be nuclear.

This is a classic match so far. Cornette is right... juice is actually the star of this team.

What is the yellow elbow pad for? He made a thing of it so it's obviously an homage.
I'd love to see Punk and Bryan get in the ring together. Aside for a random house show have they ever gone 1-on-1?

Maybe a tribute to Randy savage

Great win for the faces. Juice looked great in this match even if he took the pin.

I went back to the game and didn't see the end. Did they start an angle or anything? If not what a dumb way to end without giving anyone a reason to come back next week.

No angle or anything. It'll be interesting how they do in Canada.
