It felt longer than that. This match really dragged too.

wonder if the tag title & mimosa mayhem matches were asked to go longer than planned to make up for how short the Hardy/Guevara match went

They protected MJF with that finish

that finish was very telegraphed with the "paradigm shift banned" stip

Wardlow causing the distraction that allowed the "illegal" Paradigm Shift to be hit and cost MJF the match

let's start the build to Wardlow/MJF

as of this moment... all of AEW's men's championships are on former WWE wrestlers (ETA: who were released by WWE since AEW formed)

TNT Championship - Brodie Lee/Luke Harper
Tag Team Championship - FTR/The Revival
World Championship - Jon Moxley/Dean Ambrose

and it'll stay this way for at least a little while longer

A 3 out of 5 ppv based on high expectations set by AEW. This would have been a 4 out of 5 wwe ppv.

the Matt Hardy spot killed the whole middle of the card

tag title match
mimosa mayhem
world title

all were darn good matches and helped pick the show back up

ETA: Shida/Rosa match was definitely hindered by the Matt Hardy spot... that was a good match that no one paid attention to b/c they were trying to find out about Hardy

It was a very slow show by AEW standards. No big spots like we're used to.

Booking long term story lines.......

RT called the Wardlow turn.

What about having Orange join the Inner Circle? No one would see that swerve coming.

A trick used back in the 1980s NWA-AWA was to make your best workers heels since heels can carry the face to a good match. I think we’re starting to see heels developing.

not a turn in essence

just a miscue that could start dissension and lead to a turn down the line

AEW really needs to sign Thunder Rosa.....she is miles ahead of any other woman on their roster.....she could start to pick up their womens division

Mox apparently said in his postshow that we shouldn't be surprised to see Raylene pop up in AEW

but right now she has a strict no compete with WWE

I would prefer Susan from Southpaw. I wonder if she could use this character?
