Well then I guess she's lying.
“I think it would put us all in a better position if we did know,” Broome said in an interview on WBRP-FM Talk107.3. “I do not know the rationale behind their particular procedure, but unfortunately that is their protocol. We just have to be vigilant and try to get as much information as we can, when we can.”

With her saying that we will know how she feels about the decision, she knows.
If the DOJ wants to avoid all the potential rioting and mobilization of BLM or whatever group, then tell the local police, state police, and local governing bodies with one day notice. Make the announcement and be done with it. No need to fan the flames and fly someone in to make a statement on the capital steps.
