The concept of trying to figure out how to drain a moderate amount of grey/brown water from down in a hole in the ground (a basement) only once or twice a week makes me happy to not have this worry.

Im not a plumber but that slope is what is required for solids to move down pipe. It would be best to have that slope but if its a little more and you are just moving dirty water and some hair you should be ok.

Again I am not a plumber.
