We have a 2020 rdx with the large sunroof. Have had absolutely no issues.

I have a 2007 Acura MDX and have never had a sunroof issue.

I looked on an Acura forum, and it appears Acura changed suppliers for the 2022 model year RDX panos, and it is causing problems.
There are pics of the 2021 vs 2022 unit and there are indeed differences. According to that site, Acura is working on a replacement/fix.
I don’t see it affecting other models… only the MDX and RDX have panos from Acura. The sedans only come with standard moonroofs and I didn’t see issues reported with those.

I was called for the first time in a month by Acura of Baton Rouge. I was just told that Acura sunroofs are on backorder until October and they are taking my loaner back. This will mean a Acura with 3400 miles will have spent 4 months in the service department waiting on a part for a known problem with the sunroofs.

Acura was the worst car I ever owned. They rattle and the sunroofs leak. Ive had two and haven’t kept one for more than two years. I’m done with them and I will only drive Toyota/Lexus till the day I die.

Just left the Acura dealership. The service guy pointed to about a dozen or more cars parked on the back lot and said “All those are waiting on backordered parts some of them have been here for months.” I asked him how long it takes on parts and he replied “We have no idea”.

I have to wonder what happens to the batteries and does the gas start going bad after 4-5 months just sitting.
