I know how this works. I work in IT LOL
I am simply just trying to warn people that if you sign up for ACE Hardware Rewards program then be prepared to live through Spam Hell like I am currently living through.
In addition, when I do get spam from other companies that I signed up from, the UNSUBSCRIBE options usually works 99% of the time. The UNSCUBSRIBE feature with ACE Hardware does not work so you will keep getting hundreds of spam messages from them and their 3rd party shady ad company.

I am just baffled that I have 3 downvotes for me trying to be helpful and warn users of my experience dealing with ACE Hardware spam.
If I can just make a difference for just 1 person to not have to go through what I am goung through with ACE hardware, then I feel I did my duty to helping spread the word about this shady spam gimmick from a beloved American company.
Oh, I agree and I never sign up for any rewards cards or enter my number to get 5% off at checkout on websites. I get enough junk.

I have spent several hundred dollars in the past several months at Ace Hardware and not once have I ever been offered a rebate from my point accumulation

Say what you want about Google, they have perfected the Spam Folder. I have had to make a few accounts online to buy stuff, and a couple of them just bombard your email with multiple emails a day. So far, they have all been from the companies I bought from, though, but that poor spam folder is about to explode.

You want to know the most useless one of those I've had? Harbor Freight's Inside Track Club. There are so many stipulations and hoops attached to it that I never was able to successfully use it, and it had a fee attached to join! I only had it for one year and didn't renew.
The best of those that I had was Books-a-Million. You could use it on every purchase to get a discount, it got you a healthy discount when you signed up or renewed, and you got access to sales others didn't. I'm sure all that has been trimmed back as BAM has suffered over the years like every other book seller.

I always give them the number and email address for a guy I know that I dont like. Then I use his number when I check out so I still get the discounts. He might get the points but I know he is getting tons of spam. When my wife (no pics) hears me tell them his number she just rolls her eyes.
I have done this with Harbor Freight and Duluth Trading.

That's an anomaly at this point
Doesn’t seem to be based on what everyone is saying in this thread.
I’ll echo the same thing others have said - the folks at my local Ace (Highland Road Hardware in BR) are always incredibly helpful. Every time I walk into the store there’s someone immediately asking if they can help me find anything. Which is actually great because honestly it’s kind of hard to find shite in there with how much they have packed into a relatively small store.

If I’m “shopping” or looking for bigger stuff like appliances, lumber, etc. I might go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. When I know what I need to get shite done, I go to Ace. My only gripe with Ace is that they close pretty early so sometimes it’s tough to swing by there after work. But if that’s the price you pay to have a staff that gives a shite, so be it.

Nope.. these email messages do not go into my spam folder even though I have marked as spam several times

Remember when their jingle was “Ace is the place with the helpful hardware MAN”? About three years ago they changed to “hardware folks”. Folks rhyme’s with woke. I don’t reward them with my money.
