I'm so sick of these types of threads. I was raised on dirt roads, wiffle bat batlles for days, riding my bike until dark, swimming parties, skating ring throw downs, stetting up lemonade stands, huge arse fort building in trees, trading baseball cards

I'm labeled as a millennial because I'm 31 and of when I was born and I really don't give a frick.

I take my son out of the house as much as I can when I have him for the weekend. Sitting around watching TV is a no go for me and him so we are always moving

He's caught more fish in the last months than I have in 6 years. He eats it up and I do as well

Don't mind the hook in my finger here because "I want to hold the fishing ole Datty" happens ouch

I started a thread about this a year ago and I got thrashed. Apparently the OT majority would rather have a bunch of screen zombies than interact with their kids.

Maybe if you would have stayed off social media or played less CoD you would still be married.

"Who's gonna collect my wellfare? Pay for my Cadillac?"
If jerry tried to record that song now the record co would say "no. That's racist."

My wife and I had a discussion about something similar to this the other day. Our kids don’t use their tablets outside the home or long car trips.

My 8 year old daughter has a tablet and she inundates herself with Roblox. Some low bit character game. (Yes, there are parental settings and we use them).

Anyway, she had a friend stay over the other night and they stayed on their tablets most of the time but they were playing make believe family and friends etc etc. After observing what they were playing/doing/pretending, there wasn’t much of a difference if they were playing with dolls. The physical dolls wasn’t in their hands, but they were digital and that’s pretty much what they were doing.

Some things aren’t so terrible if you pay attention to what’s going on.

I have a theory. The more !!!! women use in their comments, the worse it really is.

That's when you pounce.

Also, I’m sure our parents were worried about a generation raised on arcades, Nintendo, sega, gameboys, or whatever consoles or electronic equipment you were raised on.

I'm old. 47.

My parents got drunk while I pulled the string on the See & Say The Farmer Says.
