Dude, I'm a Midwesterner, but if you think Ohio public schools are better than Texas', then I don't know what to tell you.
They've got what's pretty widely considered one of the best public school systems in America, especially considering the context. You know why Catholic schools aren't a thing in Texas (like they are in Ohio) even given its large Catholic population? Because their public schools are really good.

I read these threads and, as much as I admittedly think they're kind of hilarious and off-putting and often sexist, the same thought goes through my mind.
VC, PE, IB, management consulting, corporate strategy, product management, etc. - they're sexy careers in educated circles, but they're not going to be dropping panties at the club, especially in places like where you and I live where every other dude there is in one of those fields. I work in one of those fields, and back in my single days, whenever I started getting into any details about what I actually do on a day-to-day basis, I'd get a blank stare; I got a hell of a lot more interest and attention when I mentioned that I had been an infantry officer in Iraq or where I'd gone to grad school (the association automatically being $$$ even though I was being subsidized by the GI Bill and taking on loans).
Also, I've seen that people involved in high-powered politics - like staff with real responsibilities and so forth - don't exactly hurt in that department, either.

His posts are still more entertaining than 90% of the dumb catfights and bachelor party recs and "is this trashy" threads that make up most of the content here.
My guess is he is smarter than most posters but he has a touch of sociopathy so his main objective is to rustle jimmies.
