I have a 2010 TL with 3.7 V6, AWD and 6-speed manual that's a blast to drive. It's not the best-looking car but accelerating through curves with the torque-vectoring always brings a smile.
The Type S sounds like a winner too, but it would be hard giving up the stick. And I haven't spent a dime on repairs since coming off warranty years ago.
