Stopped at the one in Auburn on the way to New Orleans last week and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't overly crowded and folks acted like they had some upbringing. We stopped at the one below Daytona about 3 years ago and it was anything BUT civilized.....and I haven't done anything but buy gas from them since.

I do not get the infatuation though. Folks act as if the brisket is legit. It is Castleberry's canned BBQ. Its edible just like it was in 1973 when they served it in school cafeterias all over the country....that is ALL it is, edible. I have heard people who ought to know better swear the brisket is legit...it ain't. I have not found anything to eat at the place that would not be easy to find at a circle K. I know folks are ate up with the food but its edible at best...probably won't cause you to hate yourself in a few hours for being stupid enough to eat gas station food....but thats it,
