Lied about his age to sign up. In 25 bombing missions over the European theater, two of the planes he served on went down.

He's had multiple heart attacks and beaten cancer. Twice.

Kinda a Captain America story tbh. Doing anything he can to go to war. Tons of successful missions. Staring death in the face and surviving multiple times. A true patriot
