It's just weird that nothing is said about the shitty parents of the bullies. If your kid is beating up kids who are different and weaker than them, you have failed as a parent.

Let's not forget kids are mean. 9 year olds don't have much sense and don't realize what they're doing is awful. If mine were picking on some kid they'd understand very quickly that type of shite isn't tolerated.

However, the mother shouldn't have ever bought her male child that fruity arse backpack. She is the adult and should act as such.... That means making purchasing decisions that are in her boy's best interest.

She is doubling Dow on this dumbshit. Attention whoring facebook

This isn't about the boy. This is about momma saying look at me and my poor misunderstood, but unique child.

yea only so much the parents of the other kids can do to stop their kids from smacking a easy target. It would be one thing if the kid couldn't help it but being a brony is something he could change.

I think we are seeing this shite happen more and more with parents of weird kids. The parents allow the kid to make decisions that make them easy targets because they think it is cute their kid wants to be different. then when its time to pay the price for being extremely weird it is everyone else's fault that the kid is being messed with.

No doubt the bag was an unwise purchase. Perhaps she warned him of the ridicule he would get and he said, "you know mom, I expect people to make fun of me, and I don't care. I'm going to use it anyway." As a parent, I imagine it'd be a less clear cut decision to prohibit the item than we are assuming.

Hopefully she would have made a different decision had she been told he would be abused physically. Maybe not.

I think you're giving the lad too much credit. Not hating but I don't think the young man could formulate that rational of a thought. But who am i to say, my kids are both younger than three years old.

I have no proof to support this, but I think the mom is an internet weirdo. She's seen the brony fad and introduced her boy to it. The pony cartoon is like nine years old. I'm subjected to Disney and Nickelodeon on a regular basis and can't recall ever seeing the pony show. I'm sure if it was easily available my daughter would have found it.

I think madam Bruce pushed this on the boy. Again, no proof just reading between the lines.

Were you picking out your own clothes at 9 years old?

For the most part yes, but I wasn't bought everything I pointed my finger at. My choices were limited to reasonable purchases made by my parents, including my sweet arse parachute pants.

You could be right. Obviously, if that were true, my opinion on this particular case would be different. But my general point remains, and nothing the mom did excuses physical abuse or the parents that don't teach their kids better than that.

So you were give options. Point being, you can't let a kid decide how he's going to be raised. Or else they'll all be called something weird like Frankenstein and eat packets of ketchup for dinner.

Of course it is. No man would let his son walk out the front door like that without smacking him upside the head.

Poor kid,

This makes me think that My Little Pony has been pushed on him by his mom over the years, and I doubt he has a strong male influence in his life.
