Well, at least there's that much. On the shitty person scale, he goes down to a 9 out of 10 for at least taking accountability for his stupid decisions and admitting he did it.

He's extremely lucky it looks like this kid will survive. That, plus his admission of guilt and turning himself in, plus the weak court system will have him out on the streets before the innocent 8 year old he almost killed gets out of the hospital
