That was how many stores corporate owned in the late 80s. It didn’t count the franchises.

7-Eleven now has 80,000 stores in 20 countries.

There’s 4-5 of them in the DFW airport and they’re all over TX, CA and up through the NE

I have fake (dirty) 7-11 radio spots.
They use the actual 7-11 jingle.

I came to know about QT recently when I visited one in Omaha 2 years ago… you could eat a steak off the floor in that place, it was squeaky clean, fully stocked, and super organized.
