They haven't renamed NBR Upper Baton Rouge yet? shite Lafayette got rid of racism, stereotypes, drugs and crime in one broad stroke by renaming the Northside of Lafayette, to Upper Lafayette. Poof! Bad area gone.....

A relative of mine OD'd this Summer. While I say relative, he was like my 2nd cousin & would consider him a friend more than a cousin. I haven't talked with him in years, but his family was kind of fricked up.. He started using in HS. He was an intelligent guy, he had plans on going to school to be an eye doctor, but he couldn't get clean. He tried several times, on his own, to get clean but couldn't shake it. He was 39 when he OD'd. I'd consider him "good people", he wasn't a bad person. He just couldn't shake his habit.
