I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I want to get one, but Ive noticed the huge differences in price. I'm not using it for anything in particular, just to play with. I don't want to spend more than 1000, but will I be disappointed?

Public libraries have them that you can print from for really cheap. Your taxes pay for it so you might as well us it until you get to the point where you can/want/need to get your own.

Sure. Filament is usually around $30. The printer is around $600. Plans are almost always free
