I’m guessing landslides is the problem? Cuz otherwise I don’t get how 21 people die. It’s only 62 miles of road and it ain’t that hard to just go pick some dudes up in a couple of vans or something.

Well that's like 2.5 marathons, through mountains. I didn't even know that was a thing. Does it typically freezerain there in May?

Ultramarathoners/trail endurance runners are some nutty folks. Look into The Barkley Marathons in Tennessee. There's actually a decent documentary about that "race". It isn't so much a race as it is a last man standing type deal.

"Of the people that tend to run it, everyone is really smart — there's a lot of scientists and a lot of really big data geeks," Boone told Business Insider.

No wonder no one has finished it. There aren’t a whole lot of super smart geeky athletes. The ones that were finished it.

OT Baws finish it easy.
