Sounds like an issue with power connections or cables. There are not too many around, you can upgrade and replace all of them fairly easily.

Most vehicle electric issues are caused by bad grounding. Find every ground wire going to the chassis. Remove them clean the connection and the mounting point and re secure.
Should not be very hard on a jeep.
