Whose conduct? Are you telling me that black Ferguson police officers never arrested another black?

Really don't know what that's got to do with anything.

As for all of the DC stuff, I know nothing about it and really don't care enough to go reading up on it.

Would you agree that the Washington, D.C., police force, which is majority black, is disproportionately arresting African Americans, based on disparate impact?

If the idiots being interviewed right now on TV are the driving force behind all of this, WOW. total fricking morons, not a single one has read the Justice Dept report. Hang Darren Wilson, Hands Up Don't Shoot.

Please interview some intelligent black people and not these hood rats.

This, not sure if I want to laugh or cry.

They are horrible. Word of advice to anyone traveling to St. Louis. St. Ann includes the highway at the airport. DO NOT SPEED. They will literally have 12-15 cops lined up taking you down. Oh, and it's a double fine zone (WTF is that? It's not a construction zone or school zone. If you want to make a speeding ticket cost $500 instead of $70, just do it. Don't give it some BS name.)

Most airports have this for a reason, people drive like absolute maniacs when they are late to the airport and think they could miss a flight.

I would agree that blacks commit a disproportionate amount of crime resulting in being arrested much more than any other race.
ETA: it's pretty simple, don't break the law and you won't be arrested.

I agree with you, but that doesn't matter under the legal theory of disparate impact, which Holder and crew have clung to in the Ferguson investigation.

Disparate impact means that if too many of a certain group are affected by government action (or inaction), NO MATTER HOW RIGHT THE INITIAL ACTION IS, it is "wrong" in the eyes of the law, and precedence under Civil Rights jurisprudence. It's total bullshite.

Well an elected black woman (state rep?) that represents that community was as stupid as any of the other people I've seen interviewed so that should tell you something. She actually said during the original riots that they need to use tax money to rebuild the convenience store they burned down.

Couldn't agree with you more about that. It's like they're own little playgrounds. What they forget is that real people (white or black) live in those playgrounds and their lives are affected in a real way when you have to pay $600 for your grass.

Be honest, do they fine you $600 with ZERO warning? I highly doubt it that they come out one day, give zero warning and you get a $600 fine instantly. The city of Scottsdale fines something ridiculous like $500 a day but you get a 30 day notice and your grass has to be out of control.

I am sure the PD out there is crazy and I would hate them but even the nicest areas of the country fine you for things like out of control grass and speeding to the airport, its very normal and very easy to avoid the fines.

Oh come on, you're being disingenuous. Answer the question. The stats are right in your face.

As long as within 1500m I know you will be safe and still be able to take the shot!

I haven't seen a study to that affect but if you say so, I'll take your word for it. What I have a problem with isn't the enforcement of more serious crimes. It's the bullshite charges of "manner of walking" or failure to obey/comply. Those are simply a license for a cop to say I don't like you, I'm going to arrest you even if you were doing nothing wrong. They either need to be re-written or taken off the books.

It's not the Pd's that are behind this, it's the cities forcing the chiefs to tel their guys they are now a ticket making machine.

Tickets are their #1 concern, find any little thing, and more than likely, they will find 3 or 4 more things.

Courts rake in money, cities love the chief.

This is why STLCounty needs to take over, enough

Oh, and don't think for a 2nd, that if the Chief doesn't bring in that revenue that he won't be out of a job. He will, the cities have become drunk on these fines and fees.

Of course not, because it doesn't fit your agenda. Just like how these protestors don't care to "read up up on" the AG report. Nobody wants to face the facts.

Eighty percent of the arrests (by the majority black Washington Metro PD) were of blacks (2009-11).

Yet, only forty-seven percent of those within its jurisdiction are black (18 and up).

Comment?

But what leads to those numbers?

Could it be that a black kid walking back from school in the street gets stopped and arrested for "manner of walking" but my son who is white walks by a cop every single day of the week while he's walking in the middle of the street to school and the most the cop would do is wave?
