I doubt it. Apparently they tried to taze him first with no success. I live 10 minutes from where this went down and knew his older brothers from high school even though they moved here after I graduated. There are lot of rumors flying around and even if a few of them are accurate, this will be a non-story after the investigation is completed.

This guy was allegedly a known drug dealer that has had run-ins with the law before. Like I said, the rumor is they tried to taze him prior to using guns but he fought them. Only issue with that is he wasn't a big dude at all.

Perhaps this should be cause for concern. Do we trust the police enough to police themselves? I'm sure there are some good police out there but there are also a few real pieces of shite. Those are the few that I am worried about. Problem is, they are all dressed the same. You never know when you will get the bad one.

Beauregard is too small of a Parish for this to be swept under the rug. There are already leaks in the Sheriff office as it is. A lot of stuff leaked during the election a month ago that wasn't supposed to.

I'm his age but I believe I was a couple to three years ahead of him. Two of his older brothers are around my middle sisters and I think they're good dudes. At least they were back in high school. This one didn't seem like he was on as good of a path. I don't know if he deserved to get shot, but knowing the BPSO, it was only a matter of time before this type of situation arose.
