Good Christ. Does no one over there have a whiff of common sense? This is the type of brain dead decision that will get a bond program like this scrapped bc the people who run it are too damn idiotic to use reasonable judgment.

No doubt! Have an upvote.

I have a good bit of experience in this field, and I can tell you that the reformers often go overboard with the presumption of innocence clause.

They forget the “probable cause” clause, and the “nature and circumstances of the offense” clause.

Uhhhh, what? This kid belong in jail. What in the ever loving frick does that have to do with my previous posts in this thread?

Some people are building a strawman to defend someone saying that an average looking guy looked like a POS.

The guy is a POS, but that picture gives no evidence of it.

Seriously, what kind of Potato IQ mental leap did you take to respond to my posts to think somehow blood is on my hands, or that I think that kid shouldn’t be in jail?

Hey, mattgr1983, your instincts are correct, and your comment is appropriate. We do need to guard against stereotyping! Keep us shooting straight.

Just recognize that the frustration is real and also appropriate.

Thanks brotha.

Let me add a little nuance to this discussion that has gone off the rails. There is a huge difference between saying it’s not surprising that the person who committed these crimes is black, and saying you could look at that picture and predict he is a criminal. The former is reasonable just because the sad truth is that odds are that he would be black. The latter is objectively racist.

Actually you are a piece of zhit, the worst kind.

You and your ilk are enablers.

For future reference, it’s hard the take the guy that spells out zhit seriously

Remember, we have some Confederate Clairvoyants in the thread.

I get where you are coming from but this is a strange thread to harp on this side of the argument

Expand on that.

Bow out when someone is called out for what they are being. 100% correct to, there is no defense to what the poster said that turned this thread into a shitshow.

Or just own up to it.

It's fine to say it. People in this thread are dancing around their prejudice.

Not me....

Young black men are responsible for most of the crime in this country.

They've bought into a culture of ghetto-bravado that values stupid zhit over hard work and education.

Yep, if I see an unknown young black kid in my neighborhood I'm more worried about getting my zhit stolen than if I see an Asian kid.

What I find ironic is that you are more upset for people CORRECTLY identifying a problem and those who are causing it than the problem itself....

Instead of preaching and tilting at windmills, you should be on the side of people who aren't fking thing up for errbody else.

YOU are an ENABLER....
