I don't know why it is hard to believe that Neanderthals were capable of doing this.It's not like they were building sky scrapers.
Beavers build more complex structures,and they are just big rats.
We know that Neanderthals existed at that time. I don't get why we think that they weren't capable of piling rocks and bones in a circular shape.

I'm with Pectus on this one. Not that I have any clue about this stuff, but seems like they're really stretching to make the conclusions they want to make, just like all these findings do.

If it wasn't for the fire I'd say it's just naturally occurring but fire that deep I don't buy. Now age wise who knows?
