Was just a thought. Again, they apparently have it all on camera, just don't understand what is taking so long.

Having watched more hours than I can count of everything from surveillance videos to BWC videos, just because there's video doesn't mean there's anything useful on it, especially when the video is taken at night. With that said, if the video was either 1. extremely useful or 2. utterly not useful, I feel like there would have been an update by now. My guess is that it's potentially useful, but only in that it aids the investigation, and if they release information, it would then jeopardize that investigation. There are obviously other potential explanations, but none that I would consider to be even remotely as likely is that.

You're welcome. And as an example, let's say that the plates are either not visible or fake, but there's a unique bit of damage that's identifiable. You don't know who the car belongs to, but you know if you see it, you'll know it. If you release that video or information about it, the perps might either fix the damage or get rid of the vehicle.

Again, just as a random example. I have no information about this case; if I did, I would be avoiding this thread like the plague

Ahhh, interesting! Well, hopefully they figure out what happened here sooner or later, it's not too often someone gets killed in Southdowns.
