Bad arse! I’ve been considering joining the Sons of Confederate Veterans after I found that out. I know you don’t have to be a descendant to join, but after I found that out I’ve been considering.

Actually you do have to be a descendant. Check it out

And he wasn't known as a back stabber. In fact, he was heart broken to find out so many he considered friends were doing it to him

I’ll look up some names for you later about the drinking. As far as backstabbing check out Mclenernand but spell it better than me

I highly recommend the book, Lee the American. Lee was instrumental in the reconciliation of our nation. To brand him “traitor” for fighting for Virginia, but ignoring his role in restoring the Union is a bias worthy of the modern MSM.

You are parsing words. A traitor is a traitor. There is no getting around it.

But that doesn’t change the fact that they were traitors.
Interesting that we name military installations for traitors then.

How did the Constitution define "citizenship" at the time of the Civil War

Before the war of northern agression there was no reason that a state or group of states couldn't secede. In fact several northern states had threatened to secede over the 1858 fugitive slave act.

There was nothing in the constitution to stop secession. It was actually an unjust and illegal war. The winner got to make the rules though.

He simply stated that both Robert E Lee and Joseph Stalin led interesting lives.

Do you think that they didn’t?

Ok, cool. Lee was a traitor against the United States. Washington was not.

There is no reason to submit a post about me, ever. Doing so is pathetic and sad.
