The kid will likely get arrested by law enforcement for shooting at the car after they were fleeing and he was no longer in danger, and the mother will be cited for leaving a handgun available for a minor and have her kids taken away from her by child protective services.

the other guy already has a conviction of assault with intent to kill and he was denied bail thankfully.. he's trying to plead "ignorance"
this has to be so scary for that family.. they'll probably want to move now. (not that they would blame the neighborhood) just in case of any type of revenge and knowing where they live..
