13 people dead after tour bus collides with semi truck in palm springs

The bus was traveling west on Interstate 10 when it plowed into the back of a large truck early on Sunday.
It was carrying 44 adult passengers from the Red Earth Casino in Salton City to Los Angeles when the crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 5.17am, CHP chief Jim Abele told a news conference on Sunday afternoon.
The Riverside County Coroner's Office confirmed 13 people aboard the bus - including the bus driver - died after the crash near Palm Springs in California's Mojave Desert.
