A preliminary NOPD report says the shooting was reported about 11:55 p.m. in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur. Police initially notified media about the shooting about 1 a.m. Tuesday.
A physical altercation occurred between the shooter and a man in his mid-20s, the preliminary report says, when the shooter pulled out a gun and shot the man.
Wonder what they were arguing over?
