Found the McNeese alumnus
But in all seriousness, do you really considering McNeese to be a respected school? I alwasy considered it the last ditch hope before community college.
Hell, their freaking acceptance rate > graduation rate......that shite should be inverted

LSUS is essentially a diploma mill
Well, frick...evidently I’m studying way to hard for nothing. And the poor 18% of my last class that received F’s missed out on this message too.
OP - ULL didn’t have its shite together when I applied last year, so I went LSUS. The LSUS portal is top notch and the 4 professors I have had are all very good. I’m taking 6 hours per session and I’m studying/writing papers 12-15 hours a week. My BIL went through LSU and so far 3 of the 4 textbooks have been identical.

Which MBA program?

LSUS, Mcneese, and ULL.
None... all of these are going to be looked at for what they are... online degree mills for the sole purpose of generating revenue. If it has to be online, I would look at ASU, Pepperdine, etc. Places which have prestigious degrees which have meaning, otherwise it is pointless for the most part.

This is because they do not have strict admittance criteria and allows GMAT waivers.

I will say the GMAT helped me a lot in my MBA coursework. I had a 9 year break with little to no math in both my undergrad and work. Studying for the GMAT really brought up my math skills. Not sure how you would be able to do MBA quant work with a GMAT waiver unless you have a heavy quant background.
Also MBAMath is clutch

If those are your 3 choices, and it's just for a checkbox, I'd pretty easily choose ULL.

What is your main motivation for getting your MBA? Change career path or needed for promotion?

I have been accepted to LSUS, Mcneese, and ULL. Prices are similar. It is just to check a box.
ETA: they are all online
I just started the ULL MBA online program. Seems pretty straightforward so far.

Promotion and I have the time/money. I figure it can't hurt. I'm already established in my field. If I ever decide to job hunt it might just make me more marketable. That's my logic behind it, anyways.

LSU has around a 70% acceptance rate and 40% graduation rate, it is well respected in this state. What's your point?

I agree 100%.

[/img] You're absolutely correct, it's well respected in this state bc outside of LSU, Tulane is the only other school that "out weighs" LSU academics and I use that world very loosely.
My point is just bc a bunch of idiots say something doesn't necessarily make it true....just look at the whole Transgender "movement".
Just skim through this message board at how many times people confuse than and then or have trouble formulating complete, coherent sentences.
I was born in Louisiana, but as soon as undergrad came, I bolted.

You have to be accepted to those programs?
Posted on 6/5/19 at 2:14 pm to Cump11b
Every public MBA program in Louisiana allows waivers(including LSU) to my knowledge. I believe LSU requires a 3.0 and others require a 2.5, but I could be wrong on that.
