Amazing what speed looks like coming off the edge! Allen and his 300 lb defensive end philosophy has got to change.

Baun gets off the edge good, yeah, but he always misses the sack. He whiffed on 2 potentials sacks on Devito.

yeah, you're probably right about that, I wasn't trying to put him down, but just point out that he didn't wrap up Devito on those potential sacks. But he hadn't played ball regularly in awhile like you said, so, he just needs to get used to things again like wrapping up a QB on a sack. But he played well putting good pressure on Devito.

Saints have 11 sacks the past 2 weeks. If they've figured out how to pressure now, that's promising down the stretch

I thought he was a good pick, but was more suited to play outside as a 3-4 backer.
At worse, I thought he could be used as a third down pass specialist.

I mean that’s good and all but look who it was against. Two of the worst teams and qbs in the league in Carolina and New York.
