You folks just realizing the NFL is crooked?

Saints are about to put the game away and the Rams easily convert on a faked punt. Saints looked like they were napping. Why? The NFL wants a close game because they want a captive audience in big games. It's all about the TV dollars.
The NFL got what they wanted: an exciting close game and a Los Angeles team in the Super Bowl to grow the LA market.

I have realized this since the Seattle vs Pittsburgh Super Bowl. They wanted Jerome Bettis to retire winning a super bowl and the refs made sure that happened.

The Steelers are a favored team in the NFL. No question about it. I first began suspecting it was crooked on James Harrison's 99 yard interception return in the Super Bowl against the Cards.

It wouldn't surprise me. But it's mostly done through officials and some coaches. It's entertainment, that's all. The NFL can write whatever ending they want.

I still don’t think the NFL is scripted like WWE. But I’m absolutely convinced that referees make calls for money or because their loyalties lie with a certain team. If someone goes up to a ref and offers him $100k to help cover a spread, you think he’s gonna say no? That’s half his salary in one game.
