We’d have to get someone on a team friendly deal.. we have quite a bit of contracts to sign this year with existing players we need to keep

bring in Golladay with Stafford. Madden says it works.

The problem is that our top 5 WR are all under contract for 2021. Thomas, Sanders, Callaway, Tre'Quan, & Harris.

I guess it's a good and bad problem.

I don’t see us signing any receivers. we are in pretty good shape and I expect Calloway to take another step forward. We won’t have the cap to sign Golladay and if we sign anyone it will be a bargain guy.

We only have 1 possible open spot. That's if someone beats out Tre'Quan. Thomas, Sanders, Callaway, & Harris aren't going anywhere.

It's just not a good situation for a FA WR to walk into. 2021 is the last year of Tre'Quan's contract. The coaches might want to give the 3rd round pick 1 last year to prove himself as well.

Anything can happen, but I put my money on us looking into other positions.

Yeah I agree. Think the money at WR is set. Gonna need QB money.

Are we though?

We'd have a healthy Thomas, Sanders and honestly Calloway has earned the job over Smith imo

Do we really need to waste resources on another guy

Might be tough to attract anyone with uncertainty at QB

I don’t see us signing anyone off the street on a bargain to come out and beat out Tre’Quan. I was banging that drum this season but the fact of the matter is he has now been in the offense for 3 years. We saw how long it took a seasoned vet like Manny Sanders to get acclimated to the offense. Plus the coaching staff likes Tre’Quan and would provide everything you would expect to get from a 4th string receiver. He is also a willing blocker which Payton loves

I think we're set. Thomas, Sanders, Calloway, Smith, and Harris round out your top 5. PS guys: Johnson and Lil Jordan.

If it's a position we'll be in the market, it'll be linebacker, backup c/g, backup tight end, qb

It’s close. Both can run block their asses off. If Calloway could have stayed healthy it would be a no brainer

We are not in the market for a receiver. Now if there is a guy that we had a Top 35 grade on still there in the 2nd we could grab on a rookie contract.
