Looks like the Dolphins are wanting a 1st. The Saints won't do that and since the Dolphins already have the Saints 2nd next year, the most the Saints would offer is a 3rd. I don't think that gets it done.

The saints will be picking anywhere between 26-32 in next years draft. You won’t find a player as talented as minkah at that pick. So it’s like minkah is our next years 1st round draft pick which would be a steal imo. He’s gonna have a 5th year option so all you’re really losing is a year off his rookie deal

With how our secondary looked and has looked in big games in the past...

Adding a potentially premier guy to our NB position in a league where ultimately you hope to face off against NE, KC, LAR etc aka teams with high end slot weapons

I'd be willing to part with draft capital to acquire a guy like Minkah.
