Would DA have the humility to stay on as DC?

Because he’s elite in that role, just a very bad head coach. It would be a shame to lose a top 5 DC because the promotion didn’t work out. Hope he has that level of self-awareness.

Can't do that... it would be a recipe for complete disaster. Allen would resent the new regime whether he admits it publicly or not. You're also not going to move to a new regime and tell an incoming coach that they can't hire their own DC.

Why would we want him to? I dont care how good of a DC is keeping him around after what just happened would be a disaster.
Start over..

I’d rather just start over completely. Find some young upcoming coordinators and right the ship over a few years

Guys don't respect him or want to play for him anymore in New Orleans. So he is not elite in any role with the saints anymore.

Doubtful but if that is who the next coach wants...
